Anna Akabalı Poland
Anna Akabalı, born in 1985 Piekary Śl. / POLAND. She graduated from the Ballet School in Bytom. In 2004 she went to the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and graduated in 2007. Between 2008-2010 she was a member of the Silesian Dance Theatre in Poland. In 2011 she came to Turkey and started as a dancer and choreographer at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. Her own works are: „Re:Rosas!Project“- dance movie shown at: Kaaitheater in Brussels, Sinema Dans-Ankara Dans Film Festival and at the Dance Camera İstanbul Festival in 2013. She performed „Yanlışların Suçu“ at the Leyla Gencer Hall and at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet in Turkey as well as “The Nutcracker” in 2015 Anna Akabalı was part of a lot of project and stage performances like „La Vivandiere“chor.by A.Saint-Leon/L.Ermolova, Stadttheater St.Polten(Austria) and Theater in Heidelberg(Germany), Jenifer Hanna „Adama” Gallus Theater/German, Jan Kodet „Dotek” Gallus Theater/Germany and Nicole Caccivio-Gallus Theater/Germany. In 2005-206 she was a part of performance projects in Turkey, Germany, Herzegovina, Egypt, Iceland and Hong Kong, of famous choreographers like Jiri Kylian “Stemping ground” Nora Kimball /Kunstlerhaus, Toula Limnaios “Aller simple”- Kunstlerhaus Mousonturm/Germany and Georg Balanchine “Concerto Barocco”/ Prof.Angela Schmidt - Kunstlerhaus Mousonturm/Germany. She was guestdancer in the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Germany and 
in the performance of the Dutch choreographer Anouk van Dijk. She conducted the following workshops: 2008-2010 Silesian Dance Theatre/ Poland- conducting workshops with ballet and modern dance in Bytom, Sopot, Szczecin, Wrocław
