Ankara Devlet Opera ve Bale’sinde başdansçılık yapan Burak Kayıhan, koreografisini aralarında Solocoreografico Torino, Solocoreografico Frankfurt, Jerusalem International Solo Dans Festival'in de bulunduğu pek çok organizasyonda jüri üyeliği yapmış olan Özgür Adam İnanç’ın üstlendiği “Dem”i sergilemeye geliyor. “Dem” kelimesinin anlamı “nefes” veya “zaman”dır. Tasavvufta anda olmayı ifade eder; insanın geçmişin ve geleceğin kaygılarından arınarak şimdiki anı yaşamasının önemini vurgular. Eserde, içimizi gören aynaya bakmamız söylenir çünkü ayna hakikatin kendisidir. Kişi, kendisini anda ortaya çıkarır ve gerçeği bulur: “Ben okyanusu içinde barındıran damlayım”. *Festival, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından desteklenmektedir. Burak Kayıhan, principal dancer at Ankara State Opera and Ballet, is coming to perform "Dem", choreographed by Özgür Adam İnanç, who has been a jury member in many organizations including Solocoreografico Torino, Solocoreografico Frankfurt and Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival. The word “dem” means “breathe" or “time". In sufism it refers to being in the moment; like it is essential for a person to live in the present moment by getting rid of the worries of the past and the future. The piece tells us to look into the mirror that sees us, because the mirror is the truth itself. The person reveals themselves in the moment and finds the truth: "I am the drop that contains the ocean". *Festival is supported by the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
