Fernando Troya İspanya
Fernando Troya (16/05/89) is a young choreographer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Born in Madrid, Spain, he trained classically at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid. Professionally danced for Goyo Montero, Stephan Thoss and with Netherlands Dance Theatre. He has produced independent projects, such as ‘Essential Rights’, a research in childhood, bullying and parenting, premiered in Korzo Theatre in The Hague and performed at Dansmakers Amsterdam; ‘Withering’, a solo performed and awarded in different festivals around the world. He has also collaborated in international independent projects such as ‘Found in Translation, with Slovenian maker Kristina Aleksova; among others. Fernando has also created commissioned works for international dance companies; Uncertain Distance for Ballet Finland, premiered at the National Theatre in Helsinki; The animal that takes you for the Budapest Dance Theatre, premiered at the National Theatre in Budapest. Fernando is busy at the moment with a new production called 'Reminiscente', a research on Plato's Theory of Form, and the painter Francisco de Goya, specifically his later works 'Disasters of War' and the dark paintings. It is to be produced in a series of short works; the first one, 'A Colossus', was created in Amsterdam supported by Dansmakers Amsterdam. Has been performed in Genova, Italy, and Ankara, Turkey at the 1st edition of the International Solo Festival.
