Nilgün Usta
Nilgün Usta, bir moda dergisi editörü Jean Dominique Bauby'nin gerçek hayat hikayesinden esinlendiği eseri „Ruh-Beden” ile festival sahnesinde olacak. Bauby bir kaza sonucu 'locked-in syndrome' adı verilen hastalığa yakalanır. Tek gözü ile tüm dünyayı algılar ve onu anlatım aracı olarak kullanır. İzleyici bu denli zorlu bir çelişki içerisindeki kişinin ‘özgürlüğün’ ne olduğuna; bir yatağa bağlı kalarak, ruh-beden ilişkisini nasıl sorguladığına tanıklık eder. Bauby, as a result of an accident gets a disease called ‘locked-in syndrome’. He perceives the whole world with his one eye and uses it as a narrative tool. The viewer witnesses the difficult contradiction of someone who questions what is the ‘freedom’ while being tied up to a bed and see how that person questions the relationship of the soul and body.
