Çin, Hırvatistan ve Brezilya’da verdiği atölyelerden sonra Türkiye’ye Solo Dans Festivali kapsamında gelecek olan Portekizli dansçı Bruno Duarte, “Kış” isimli performansıyla Portekiz'in Tras-os-Montes bölgesinin büyülü karakterini seyircilerle buluşturuyor. Sanatçıya göre “Kış”, bazı konseptsel zıtlıklar arasında geçer. Kutsal ve pagan, insan ve doğaüstü, geçmiş zaman ve çağdaş zaman arasındadır. Canlı olan ve bellekte olanı karşıt konumlandırmaktansa birleştirir, anlattığı bölgedeki oturmuş pratiklerin ve kültürel mistisizmin yönettiği olayları merkezine alarak genç insanların özgürleşmesinden, sokaklardan ve aşılan sınırlardan bahseder. *Performans, Ankara'daki Portekiz Büyükelçiliği işbirliği ile düzenlenmektedir. *Festival, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından desteklenmektedir. Portuguese dancer Bruno Duarte, who will come to Turkey as part of the Solo Dance Festival after the workshops he gave in China, Croatia and Brazil, brings the magical character of the Tras-os-Montes region to the audience with his performance called "Winter". According to the artist, “Winter” passes between some conceptual contrasts. It is between the sacred and the pagan, the human and the supernatural, the past and the contemporary. Instead of juxtaposing, he unites what is alive and what is in memory, and speaks of the emancipation of young people, the streets and the crossed borders, by centering the events governed by the established practices and cultural mysticism in the region he describes. *The performance is organized in collaboration with the Portuguese Embassy in Ankara. *Festival is supported by the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
